LifeWorks Learning was formed to develop and disseminate evidence-based programs that improve the lives of older adults, their families, and professional caregivers. We design and develop products based on the research of multidisciplinary scholars from Cornell University and other research institutions.

Rhoda Meador, PhD, has spent much of her career working with practice and applied audiences in a variety of education, human service, and health care settings. She has developed and implemented many successful programs aimed at improving the quality of life for older people and their caregivers. Dr. Meador has consulted, presented seminars, and facilitated numerous events on topics including recruitment and retention of frontline workers, elder abuse, communications, and adult learning.

In addition to her work with Lifeworks Learning, she is the Director of the Ithaca College Gerontology Institute and was previously Associate Director of Extension and Outreach for the College of Human Ecology at Cornell University. She has an MS in adult education from Marshall University, a PhD from Iowa State University, and certification as a life coach from the Coach Training Institute.
